11:30am-1:30pm: Lobster Boat Tour($40 per person; separate registration required)

Climb aboard Lulu’s Lobster Boat for an exclusive Downeast lobster boat ride through Bar Harbor! Get a firsthand look at lobster fishing in action while you enjoy the sights and sounds of the harbor, complete with seal watching and spectacular views. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased by clicking here:

6-8pm: Highseas Homecoming Reception

Whether you’re reuniting with fellow alumni or visiting for the first time, join us at the Highseas estate for an evening of reminiscence and the making of new memories. You’ll also have a chance to meet members of the SSP class of 2024. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be offered; not recommended for young children.


Wednesday, July 10th, 2024

10:30am-11:30am: Tour of the Laboratory **AT CAPACITY

We are no longer accepting additional registrations for the 10:30am tour. If you'd like to join a walking tour after Forum for Discovery at 4pm, you may register below.Join us for a walking tour of the Bar Harbor campus, where you can visit old haunts and see what’s changed over the years. Want to know what’s happening in the labs? The tour will feature an update on JAX’s current research priorities.

11:30am-1pm: Alumni Networking Lunch

Head to Roscoe’s Cafe to connect over lunch with fellow SSP alumni and members of the class of 2024.

1:30-4pm: Forum for Discovery

Discover how JAX is shaping the future of human health by attending Forum for Discovery, JAX's annual event convening leading researchers pursuing genomic solutions and sharing the impact of the generosity of our donors. Virtual option offered. Followed by in-person reception 4pm-5pm. Not recommended for young children.

10am-12pm: Volunteer in Acadia National Park

Experience the splendor of JAX’s natural surroundings as you join us for a volunteer service opportunity with Friends of Acadia, a leading conservation organization dedicated to the preservation and stewardship of Acadia National Park.
